The core objective of this Territory Manager role is to support the Peripheral Intervention division in achieving sales targets, goals, and objectives of the division: to aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning; and to support customers with clinical expertise to enable optimal patient outcomes.

This role will support the Peripheral Interventions division, which includes the Core Vascular and Interventional Oncology Portfolios. There is an expectation of domestic and international travel with up to 7 days per month out of Auckland; this, however, is fluid. This role is responsible for the New Zealand North region and reports directly to the Country Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
  • Develop and execute on territory plans to deliver on annual revenue commitments and build a sustainable business over the longer term.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and drive new business in the assigned territory.
  • Plan and develop the market for our existing and new products in line with divisional goals & objectives.
  • Proactively partner with ANZ Peripheral Interventions colleagues and the Country Manager to foster collaboration, drive alignment, and create synergy across product portfolios.
  • Align with the business strategy to visit customers and potential customers of Boston Scientific regularly and in a planned way to promote products and services to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service and technical support to our customers and cultivate relationships with hospital staff across all areas.
  • Identify competitor activities and work with state-based colleagues and management to devise action plans to convert to BSC products.
  • Maintain all company assets and administrative duties, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with BSC audit and Quality process requirements.
  • Regularly review sales data to understand products that are increasing and declining to identify drivers to achieve plan and gaps to plan (both account level and product level analysis).
  • Complete regular market analysis and reporting.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong sales experience with demonstrated achievement of sales success in medical devices strongly preferred.

  • Ability to plan and prioritize a flexible and dynamic work schedule.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
