Role & responsibilities

  • Procurement Management:

    Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for raw materials like Blocks, Wallpanel, Dry mix.

    Procure machinery spares, MRO items, and packing materials required for AAC block production.
  • Vendor Development & Negotiation:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

    Negotiate price, credit terms, and delivery timelines to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Inventory Control:

    Coordinate with stores and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.

    Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Purchase Order & Documentation:

    Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

    Ensure proper documentation, invoice reconciliation, and GRN coordination.
  • Compliance & Reporting:

    Ensure all purchases are in compliance with company policies and quality standards.

    Maintain procurement records and generate timely reports on purchase status, cost analysis, and vendor performance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction materials or AAC block industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of raw materials used in AAC block manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, or MRP & other).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
