Roles & Responsibilities:

GST Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and file monthly/quarterly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile sales, purchase, and input tax credit data before filing.
  • Track GST liability, input credit utilization, and maintain records of all GST workings.
  • Handle and respond to any GST notices or queries from GSTN / CBIC.
  • Keep updated with the latest GST rules, amendments, and compliance deadlines.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally Prime / Tally. ERP 9 accurately.
  • Manage sales, purchase, journal, payment, and receipt entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and monthly book closure activities.
  • Generate and review MIS reports as required by management.

General Support:

  • Coordinate with auditors for GST audits and assessments.
  • Maintain organized documentation for all tax and accounting records.
  • Support other accounting activities like TDS tracking.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting with GST filing exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of GST laws and return filing process (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally. ERP 9.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Should be willing to commit for a long-term role.
