Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Ganagapuram / Chithode

Employment Type: Full-time (Male candidates only, as per the requirement)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and ledger entries
  • Use Tally for data entry, account reconciliation, voucher recording, and tracking general ledger activities.

Handle GST filing monthly/quarterly, ensuring timely compliance with GST norms

  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, and assist in preparation for audits
  • Reconcile bank and ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis activities
  • Provide mentorship or guidance to junior accountants or interns as needed
  • Maintain strong internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field (master's or equivalent is a plus)

3–6 years of proven hands-on experience in accounting roles, preferably with Tally and GST filing experience.

Strong working knowledge of Tally and GST compliance procedures relevant to India.
