Job Description: Plant Head – Facade Division

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall plant operations including production, purchase, and store functions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Oversee procurement activities, vendor management, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Supervise store management including inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material issuance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, sales, projects) to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and resource utilization.
  • Monitor plant performance, prepare reports, and present updates to the MD.
  • Mentor and guide plant staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with experience in plant operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes in aluminium door/facade manufacturing.
  • Expertise in purchase management, vendor development, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in store and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage large teams and coordinate across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration / Operations Management (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in plant management, production, and operations within aluminum/facade manufacturing industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60, ₹70,000.00 per year
