We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering Services to oversee all engineering maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure functions at our chemical plant. The role ensures uninterrupted production in a safe, energy-efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering (full-time) from a recognized university

Location : Dahej

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage plant & equipment maintenance for process units including Caustic Soda, Chlorine, Hydrogen, Chloromethanes, Phosphoric Acid, and allied utilities.
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Oversee utilities & infrastructure, including power, water treatment, boilers, compressed air, and cooling systems.
  • Promote technical excellence with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), SAP/CMMS, and root cause analysis for breakdowns.
  • Support projects, expansions, plant modifications, and commissioning activities.
  • Optimize engineering budgets, maintenance costs, and inventory management.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team in a unionized environment.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • In-depth technical knowledge of chemical process plant equipment, especially corrosive chemical plants
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Maintenance module
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination
