Job Description / Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual to support senior team members in the front-end role of
Business Development
within our Merchant Banking division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source opportunities in equity capital markets, including Public Issues on Main Board, SME IPOs, Open Offers, Delisting's, and other fundraising or advisory assignments.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, market research, and professional networking.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with promoters, CFOs, and other senior stakeholders. Open to travel.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and financial presentations to prospective clients.
  • Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in deal origination, sales, business development, client acquisition, or client-facing roles are encouraged to apply (experience in financial services is an added advantage).
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a long-term career in Merchant Banking, particularly in deal sourcing and client engagement.

  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills, capable of articulating service offerings effectively and closing deals.
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations, pitch books, research reports, and other client-facing documents.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Confidence and maturity to engage with senior executives, including CFOs and promoters.

Education Qualification

  • 0-3 year
