Job Summary

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various project sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on field experience, and the ability to work efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures at client sites
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
  • Work extensively on transmission lines, substations, and related electrical infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, industry regulations, and safety guidelines
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve system performance
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to complete assigned tasks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and service logs
  • Provide on-site technical support and resolve electrical system failures promptly
  • Travel to various locations as required for project-based assignments

Qualifications & Skills

  • ITI certification in Electrical Trade (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in electrical transmission systems (Mandatory)
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and technical drawings
  • Minimum 5 years of field experience in electrical maintenance or a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and handle field tasks efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in team environments
