Associate Sales (Renewals & Upselling)

Location: Vadodara, India (Captive Unit)

Department: Sales & Customer Success

Reports to: Global Sales Leadership

Shift timings: US Shift

Role Overview

The Associate – Sales will be responsible for overseeing contract renewals, identifying client growth opportunities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring solid sales experience, cyber security domain knowledge, and outstanding communication skills to deliver business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract renewals for existing clients in line with company targets.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell cybersecurity solutions.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional service levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, customer success, finance) to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM tools.
  • Actively listen to client needs, provide consultative solutions, and position our portfolio strategically.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and stay updated on company offerings as well as industry trends.
  • Support US and Europe sales leadership with reporting and account insights.
  • Deliver high-quality client presentations, proposals, and renewal documentation.
  • Work flexible shifts as per global business schedules.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience with at least 2 years handling renewals or account management.
  • Cybersecurity industry experience is mandatory.
  • Excellence in English communication – verbal and written; ability to influence and engage decision-makers.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities in a client-facing environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a team-oriented outlook.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is a plus.
