About the Company
Acelot Innovation Private Limited is an EdTech and HR solutions company working with government and corporate partners to drive employment and employability. We are currently executing a government project for blue-collar hiring (HVAC Technicians) through Smart Employment Exchange and other skilling platforms.
Role Overview
The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations for large-scale blue-collar hiring. This includes bulk recruitment, compliance management, onboarding, documentation, and employee engagement.
The role demands strong experience in handling government-linked projects, skill development ecosystems, and blue-collar workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage bulk hiring of HVAC Technicians / blue-collar workforce across multiple locations.
- Source candidates via Skilling India, NSDC, Smart Employment Exchange, ITIs, vocational training institutes, and job fairs.
- Oversee screening, interviews, offer issuance, and onboarding.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure accurate documentation (ID proofs, education certificates, skill certifications, ESI, PF).
- Maintain compliance with labour laws, government regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate audits, government inspections, and compliance reporting.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit formalities.
- Handle grievances, shift allocations, and disciplinary matters.
- Implement employee retention and engagement strategies for a blue-collar workforce.
Government Liaison & Reporting
- Coordinate with government bodies, skilling partners, and contractors.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and progress updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to government/clients.
Team & Vendor Management
- Supervise HR executives and field coordinators.
- Manage vendor/agency relationships for manpower supply where applicable.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of HR Operations experience, with at least 3+ years in blue-collar / bulk hiring.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and government HR projects.
- Proven experience in MIS, data reporting, HRMS/HRIS tools.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume hiring environments.
- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi (regional languages a plus).
- People-centric with ability to manage large workforce operations.
- Experience in managing payroll.
