Job Description – HR Operations Manager Location: Bangalore or Delhi NCR (On-site with periodic site visits) About Acelot Innovation Private Limited: Acelot is a fast-growing EdTech and corporate training organization offering AI-powered Learning Management Systems (LMS), corporate training solutions, and talent development programs. Role Overview: The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, covering both blue-collar and white-collar workforce management. The role demands hands-on expertise in HR technology (AI-based HRMS and LMS), compliance, employee engagement, and agency/vendor management. This is a critical position for ensuring seamless HR processes, strong employee experience, and adherence to statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: HR Operations & Administration Oversee complete HR operations across multiple locations and project sites. Manage payroll processing, salary disbursement, attendance tracking, leave management, expense reimbursements, and HRIS updates. Maintain accurate HR data and dashboards, ensuring timely MIS and analytics for leadership reporting. Drive automation of HR processes through AI-enabled HRMS and ensure its effective usage. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Plan and execute recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar roles across functions. Manage the full hiring cycle: manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, offer roll-out, and onboarding. Oversee Background Verification (BGV) and reference checks. Learning & Development Work with leadership to identify training needs and deploy learning plans through the company's AI-based LMS. Monitor training effectiveness and drive skill enhancement initiatives. Compliance & Legal Ensure adherence to all statutory and labor compliances, including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, and Contract Labor laws. Liaise with government authorities and auditors as required. Maintain updated knowledge of employment laws across India. Employee Engagement & Culture Design and execute programs to boost employee engagement, motivation, and delight. Act as a trusted advisor for conflict resolution, grievance redressal, and employee well-being. Promote an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with Acelot's values. Vendor & Agency Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard the right staffing, recruitment, and HR service agencies. Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLAs are met for third-party staffing. Site & Field HR Conduct regular visits to project sites and client locations to address workforce issues and ensure smooth operations. Build strong relationships with site managers, employees, and clients. Additional Responsibilities Budgeting and cost control for HR operations. Driving HR audits and implementing process improvements. Succession planning and workforce analytics to support business growth. Desired Candidate Profile: Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR operations within the blue- and white-collar staffing industry. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in AI-based HRMS and Learning Management Systems. - Strong knowledge of payroll software, labor compliance tools, and HR analytics platforms. Core Competencies: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong people management and process management abilities. - Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset. - High integrity, "organization-first" attitude, and ability to work independently. Compensation: Salary: Competitive fixed component plus performance-linked bonus and incentives, aligned with experience and capabilities. Work Mode: Full-time, on-site role with travel to sites and client locations as required.
