Job Description HR & Admin Manager
Location: Devanahalli Factory Office
Reports To: Head HR & Admin
Shift Timings: General shift (9:00 AM 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday). Some overtime may be required in specific circumstances.
Facilities: Canteen with free meals; transportation is provided.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR & Admin Manager who can effectively manage day-to-day HR operations as well as administrative responsibilities, while also contributing to the long-term growth and evolution of HR practices.
This role will support the Head of HR and act as the bridge between HR, administration, and facilities, ensuring smooth operations, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will combine strong execution capability with the ability to propose and implement best practices in HR and administration.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Employee Engagement
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for non-leadership roles.
- Support in the induction and onboarding of new employees, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
- Assist in coordinating training programs and skill development initiatives.
- Support the performance appraisal process by maintaining accurate data and follow-ups.
- Contribute to employee welfare programs, including health check-ups, wellness measures, and engagement activities.
- Maintain the employee database and personal files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participate in the implementation of HR best practices and contribute to policy evolution.
Administration & Facilities
- Oversee courier services and maintain proper records.
- Prepare and share the late-coming report and ensure attendance records are updated.
- Coordinate with banks for new joiners account opening.
- Arrange medical check-ups for shortlisted candidates.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for employees.
- Manage the procurement and distribution of uniforms for new joiners.
- Ensure timely availability of housekeeping and canteen items.
- Maintain and organize HR/admin forms and formats for efficient operations.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Propose and implement processes that improve efficiency in HR and admin operations.
- Contribute to company growth initiatives, including policy evolution, skill development, and employee engagement.
- Act as a key partner to the Head of HR in driving transformation within HR and administrative practices.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15+ years of HR & Admin experience, preferably in a manufacturing/plant setup.
- Strong execution orientation with the ability to manage day-to-day HR and administrative tasks effectively.
- Exposure to recruitment, training, employee engagement, and welfare programs.
- Hands-on experience in managing facilities, vendors, and employee services.
- Mature leadership qualities with the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with senior leaders.
