Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in NVOCC and freight forwarding to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting our ocean freight services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight (FCL), particularly for NVOCC services.
Promote the company's shipping lines, services, and logistics solutions to importers, exporters, and freight forwarders.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Negotiate rates in alignment with company guidelines.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt strategies.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, or shipping.
Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and Incoterms.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to travel locally or domestically as needed.
Preferred Experience:
Existing client base in freight forwarding or logistics.
Familiarity with trade routes, particularly India, Middle East, Intra asia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹100,000.00 per month
