Role & responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, new markets, new products, new business with existing clients, acquisitions etc.) by carrying out market studies etc.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
- Maintain strong and cordial relationship with potential clients.
- Monitor and control expenses in relation to revenue generation on a monthly basis
- Maintain all transaction records in freight and provide MIS Monthly basis.
- Procurement of Rates from Shipping Line / Agents and Vendor
- Continuous improvement in business on FCL / LCL / AIR / COURIER AND LMC
- Think critically when planning to assure project success.
- Achieve set revenue and volume targets for the financial year.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors Degree / Masters approved or equivalent Professional qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong selling, negotiating, and People skills.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- 2-4 yrs of experience in 3PL /Freight Forwarding Sales,
