
Head – Business Development

We are seeking a strategic and result-oriented Head Business Development (South) to lead our market expansion across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Odisha. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge in solar tracker and EPC sales, strong client relationships in the region, and proven leadership in driving large-scale renewable energy business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
Lead business growth and market penetration for solar tracker solutions in South India.
Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies aligned with national expansion goals.
Identify and engage key clients including IPPs, EPC contractors, utility developers, and consultants.
Sales Leadership & Execution:
Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, proposals, technical presentations, negotiation, and closure.
Ensure robust sales pipeline development and achievement of revenue targets.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Client & Partner Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key regional clients, developers, EPCs, and government stakeholders.
Conduct regular site visits and high-level customer engagements to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Regional Team Management:
Hire, train, and manage a high-performing regional BD team.
Drive team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and goal alignment.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Monitor regional market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing insights.
Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and strategic inputs to top management.
Policy & Stakeholder Engagement:
Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and policy forums in South India.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-level solar policies, DISCOM regulations, and incentive schemes.
