Your Role

As our new Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating effective and compliant email marketing campaigns that support local teams and drive brand engagement. Working within well-established global processes, you will assemble, quality-assure, and send campaigns, ensure recipient list compliance, and deliver actionable reports. You will be instrumental in helping our local market teams leverage email to reach and engage their audiences - always upholding the Leister brand promise of quality and trust.

Work location will be Chennai, IN.

Your Tasks

• Assemble newsletters and promotional campaigns using approved templates and predefined playbooks.
• Set up and execute simple automations (journeys) for audience engagement and retention.
• Perform thorough pre-send quality assurance, including validating links, rendering checks, tracking setup, and compliance with branding guidelines.
• Conduct basic deliverability checks; escalate technical issues (such as SPF/DKIM/DMARC or domain problems) to IT or Group specialists.
• Segment email recipient groups according to lists provided by Market Organizations/Group, respecting all consent and suppression requirements.
• Execute small-scale A/B tests (subject lines, CTAs, send times), analyze campaign results (open rate, click rate, CTO, bounces, unsubscribes), and deliver concise performance reports.
• Coordinate campaign inputs and feedback through team meetings and Jira tasks.

Your Profile

• 1–3 years of practical experience working with an Email Service Provider (ESP) such as Brevo, Mailchimp, or similar.
• Basic HTML/CSS proficiency for the creation, modification, and troubleshooting of email content.
• Solid understanding of double opt-in, consent-based marketing, and email performance indicators (open rate, click rate, bounce rate, unsubscribe rate).
• Highly organized, analytical mindset with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience working in an international team environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Jira, Confluence, or other agile project management tools is desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written); other language skills are an advantage.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong sense of quality, efficiency, customer focus, personal accountability, and solution orientation.
