About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Email Server Specialist who can independently set up, configure, and manage high-performance email servers. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless large-scale email delivery (100,000+ emails per day) with optimal inbox placement, compliance, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure dedicated email servers from scratch (MTA, IPs, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, rDNS, feedback loops, etc.).

  • Ensure daily delivery of at least 100,000 emails without fail while maintaining strong deliverability rates.

  • Monitor server performance, IP reputation, and inbox placement to maximize efficiency.

  • Implement best practices for email compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.), particularly for the USA market.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide proactive solutions to prevent delivery failures.

  • Manage warming up of IPs, reputation monitoring, and blacklist removal as needed.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, email marketing technologies, and anti-spam regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in setting up and managing bulk email servers (Postfix, Exim, PowerMTA, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of DNS management, email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and server security.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver 100K+ emails per day with high inbox placement.

  • Hands-on experience with IP rotation, email warm-up, and reputation management.

  • Familiarity with USA email compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM).

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work with email marketing platforms and SMTP relays.

  • Knowledge of email analytics and deliverability optimization.
