Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end operations of the RMC plant, including production, logistics, maintenance, and quality control
  • Develop and implement production schedules aligned with project timelines and customer requirements
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Lead and mentor plant managers, engineers, and operations staff
  • Monitor plant performance metrics (output, downtime, cost per cubic meter, etc.) and drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, and finance teams to align operational goals with business strategy
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for raw materials and services
  • Implement and optimize ERP systems for production tracking, inventory, and reporting
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure high service levels and timely deliveries
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost controls, and profitability targets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in RMC operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of concrete technology, batching plant operations, and quality standards (IS 4926, IS 456)
  • Proven experience in managing large teams and multi-site operations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making
