**Job Location** : Airoli ,Navi Mumbai.

**Salary Range** : 25K to 35K Gross Monthly.

**Job Summary**:
The RMC QA/QC Chemist is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. This role ensures compliance with standards, optimizes product quality, and performs tests on raw materials, concrete mixes, and finished products to maintain consistency and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control and Testing**:

- Conduct tests on raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, water, etc.) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on concrete mixes as per IS codes or project specifications.
- Monitor and document slump, temperature, air content, and other key parameters.
- **Mix Design and Optimization**:

- Assist in designing concrete mixes to meet specific project requirements.
- Optimize mix designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Maintain records of tests, calibration reports, and mix designs as per ISO or other regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- **Plant Support**:

- Provide technical support to the plant team to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- **Customer Support**:

- Address customer complaints related to product quality and take corrective actions.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product performance.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of concrete technology, raw materials, and IS codes.
- Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and tools.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in software like MS Excel, and quality control systems.

**Educational Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Diploma in Concrete Technology or equivalent certification is a plus.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in quality control in the RMC or construction materials industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong theoretical knowledge may also apply.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in a laboratory, RMC plant, and on-site environments.
- Flexible to work extended hours or in shifts, if required.
