Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled RMC Plant Engineer with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in managing Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) operations. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of concrete mix design, quality norms, production control, and plant maintenance, ensuring smooth functioning of the RMC plant as per company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the RMC Plant, ensuring optimal production efficiency and quality output.
  • Manage and monitor plant data, material usage, and production reports to maintain cost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, testing procedures, and IS norms for all concrete mixes.
  • Coordinate with the project, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure timely and consistent concrete supply.
  • Supervise maintenance of batching plant, transit mixers, and related equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain safety, environmental, and quality control protocols at the plant.
  • Optimize raw material usage (cement, aggregates, admixtures) and ensure inventory control.
  • Independently handle RMC plant workforce, scheduling, and manpower allocation.
  • Prepare and maintain daily production reports, consumption records, and mix proportion data.
  • Support continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and plant performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of RMC plant operations and quality control procedures.
  • Strong understanding of mix design, raw material testing, and IS standards.
  • Proficiency in plant data management and reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
  • Familiar with construction project timelines and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in Real Estate / Construction Industry RMC plants.
  • Proven track record of independent plant handling.
  • Exposure to automation systems and modern batching plant technologies.
