**JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PRODUCTION INCHARGE (CONCRETE PLANT - RMC )Position Summary**:
The Production In-Charge at an RMC (Ready-Mix Concrete) plant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concrete production process. This includes managing plant staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining equipment, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the production of high-quality concrete that meets project specifications and standards.

**Key Responsibilities:Production Management**:
Oversee and manage the entire production process of the concrete plant.
Ensure the production schedule is met and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
Monitor and optimize production efficiency and costs.
**Quality Control**:
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure concrete meets industry standards and project specifications.
Conduct regular quality checks and ensure proper testing of concrete mixes.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
**Staff Supervision**:
Supervise plant staff, including operators, technicians, and laborers.
Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
**Maintenance and Equipment Management**:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and properly calibrated.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any technical issues promptly.
**inventory and Supply Management**:
Manage inventory levels of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, and additives.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as necessary to avoid production delays.
**Health and Safety**:
Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.
**Administrative Duties**:
Prepare and maintain production reports, logs, and records.
Collaborate with the management team to set production goals and budgets.
Handle administrative tasks related to staff scheduling, payroll, and compliance.
**Customer Coordination**:
Communicate with clients to understand their concrete requirements.
Ensure timely delivery and proper placement of concrete as per client specifications.
Address any client concerns or complaints regarding product quality or delivery.

**Qualifications**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in concrete technology or production management are a plus.
**Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete production or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

**Skills**:Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent understanding of concrete production processes and quality control standards.
Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
**Working Conditions**:
The role requires working in a plant environment, which may involve exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
The position may require working extended hours, including weekends, to meet production targets and deadlines.
