Suzlon embodies values such as Responsibility, Innovation, Partnership, and being Inclusive Job Summary: As Brand Manager, you will be the custodian of the Suzlon brand overseeing its management, evolution. You will ensure its consistent and impactful representation across markets, stakeholders, and channels aligned with the company's strategic objectives and core values. This role is key to aligning the brand with Suzlon's strategic objectives and core values.
You will lead the development and execution of integrated campaigns and craft compelling narratives to shape brand perception, strengthen market position, and support overall business objectives. You will also amplify the company's ESG leadership with clear, concise, and strategic messaging. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Governance
- Develop, implement, and evolve Suzlon's brand strategy and positioning, guiding the company's perception from a wind energy leader towards a broader renewable energy and green fuels leader, based on tangible proof points.
- Define, manage, and govern the consistent application of the Suzlon brand identity, including visual elements, brand architecture, personality ('Visionary'), and tone of voice ('positive, inspirational, business-like, thought-provoking') across all internal and external communications.
- Maintain and update brand guidelines, ensuring adherence across the organization.
- Monitor brand perception, sentiment, engagement, and equity through analytics and feedback loops.
Messaging & Campaign Development
- Develop clear, concise, jargon-free, accurate, and compelling core brand messaging and narratives that effectively convey Suzlon's journey, resilience, innovation, ESG leadership (including the 'Suz-Tain' model), and community engagement (Suzlon Foundation).
Utilize data and statistics to support claims.
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing and brand awareness campaigns across relevant online and offline channels to achieve strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, HR, Investor Relations, CSR, and other internal teams to ensure integrated communication strategies, support business-led initiatives, and effectively communicate key information (e.g., products, services, financial performance) while maintaining brand consistency.
- Manage relationships with creative, media, and PR agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns and communications.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Develop and tailor brand communication strategies and storytelling to effectively engage key target audiences, including B2B clients (manufacturing industries, utilities), investors (Equity, BFSI), regulators, potential employees, and the general public.
- Lead internal brand engagement initiatives and collaborate with HR on employer branding efforts to position Suzlon as an employer of choice, supporting talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Digital Presence & Content Management
- Oversee and enhance the Suzlon brand presence across all digital touchpoints, including the corporate website, social media platforms, and other multimedia channels.
- Lead and guide the development of compelling brand content for key touchpoints (e.g., website, brochures, presentations, investor relations materials, ESG reports, case studies).
- May support specific brand-related projects, such as website revamps, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
Event Branding
- Drive brand strategy, visibility, and experience at industry conferences, trade shows, investor meetings, CSR events, and other relevant corporate functions.
- Coordinate with event, design, and communication teams to ensure impactful brand presence and messaging at events.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: MBA in Marketing/Communications or an equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant professional experience focused on brand management, marketing strategy, or corporate communications.
- Brand Fundamentals: Strong foundational understanding of brand strategy, positioning, identity development, and core communication principles.
- Campaign Experience: Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing or brand campaigns across various channels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or business information into clear, accessible, and compelling brand messaging.
- Digital Proficiency: Proficiency in managing and overseeing brand presence across key digital platforms (e.g., corporate websites, social media).
- Stakeholder Interaction: Experience working effectively with diverse internal teams and external stakeholder groups.
- Content Development: Hands-on experience with creating and overseeing brand content for multiple touchpoints (e.g., presentations, brochures, digital assets).
- Agency Management: Experience managing relationships and projects with creative, media, or PR agencies.
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Attributes:
- Sector Experience: Prior experience working within the renewable energy, energy infrastructure, B2B industrial, manufacturing, or sustainability-focused sectors is highly advantageous.
- Sustainability Acumen: Deep understanding and practical experience with sustainability communications, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) narratives, and CSR reporting.
- Storytelling: Exceptional brand storytelling capabilities, both visually and verbally.
- Strategic & Creative Thinking: Strong strategic thinking ability combined with a creative approach to problem-solving and campaign development.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
