HR - Compliance Lead

The Compliance Lead will be responsible for managing and overseeing all statutory, labor, and factory compliance activities for the organization. This role involves close coordination with government authorities, external partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure complete compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee statutory compliance under various labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, and other applicable legislations.

  • Liaise with government departments, local authorities, and regulatory bodies for licenses, inspections, and renewals.

  • Maintain updated records of all statutory documents, registrations, and returns.

  • Handle vendor and contractor compliance audits to ensure adherence to labor and legal norms.

  • Coordinate with plant HR and operations teams to ensure smooth compliance at factory and warehouse locations.

  • Monitor and manage timely filing of returns (PF, ESI, LWF, PT, etc.) and statutory remittances.

  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and ensure timely implementation of relevant policies and practices.

  • Prepare periodic compliance MIS and dashboards for management review.

  • Drive a culture of ethical practices and compliance awareness across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Law, or related field (MBA/LLB preferred).

  • 8–10 years of experience in HR compliance and statutory management, preferably from manufacturing, FMCG, or 3party aggregators.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, factory compliance, and government liaisoning.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for managing internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in maintaining compliance reports, trackers, and dashboards.

  • High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
