Role - HR Operations Specialist

Location - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, induction, documentation, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and update HRMS with accurate employee data, records, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, UAN, etc.).
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits.
  • Prepare and circulate HR MIS reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and grievance handling.

Performance Mapping & Management

  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems aligned to organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with department heads for KRA/KPI setting, tracking, and periodic reviews.
  • Create frameworks for quarterly/annual performance evaluations.
  • Analyze performance data to identify high performers, skill gaps, and training needs.
  • Partner with leadership to drive rewards & recognition programs linked to performance.
  • Provide insights on workforce productivity and effectiveness.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in HRMS/HRIS platforms and performance management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret HR & performance data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 years of experience in HR Operations, with at least 1 years in Performance Management.
  • Exposure to fast-paced organizations or startups preferred.
