Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive
MIS Analyst
to strengthen our business intelligence and reporting function. This role is integral to ensuring that leadership receives accurate, timely, and insightful MIS dashboards for strategic and operational decision-making.

The ideal candidate should be strong with numbers, comfortable working across multiple data sets, and capable of converting raw information into meaningful insights. This role involves preparing dashboards, analysing business trends, coordinating with various departments, and supporting the overall backend system of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core MIS, Dashboards & Reporting

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS dashboards covering:
  Product-wise, RM-wise, revenue-wise, city-wise, AUM, SIP trends, growth tracking, projections, and sales numbers.
• Maintain daily business activity trackers, productivity reports, and financial planning MIS.
• Build structured Excel-based dashboards and presentations for leadership.

2. Data Interpretation & Insight Generation

• Analyse datasets to identify trends, gaps, declines, or growth opportunities (e.g., SIP drop, AUM movement, revenue variances, funnel performance).
• Present actionable insights and recommendations in a clear, simple format.
• Support management in understanding business patterns and forecasting future performance.

3. Cross-Department Coordination

• Collaborate with operations, advisory, client servicing, and sales teams to capture accurate and updated business numbers.
• Ensure timely data collection, validation, and follow-ups for missing information.
• Act as a central coordination point to ensure all teams align on MIS processes and reporting timelines.

4. Presentation & Management Reporting

• Prepare crisp MIS decks for monthly reviews, leadership meetings, and performance reviews.
• Highlight key metrics such as inflow vs target, revenue achieved, productivity, pending actions, and process improvement areas.
• Ensure reports are intuitive, visually consistent, and error-free.

5. Process, Documentation & Quality Control

• Maintain version control of all trackers, dashboards, and MIS formats.
• Strengthen the reporting framework with automation ideas, standard formats, and improved tracking systems.
• Support compliance, audit teams, and internal reviews with required MIS documentation.

Skills & Technical Competencies

• Advanced MS Excel
  skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup formulas, dashboards, data cleaning, formatting).
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint
  for management-level presentations.
• Good command over
  data interpretation, logical reasoning, and business analysis
  .
• Comfort working with
  CRM systems, sales trackers, and internal business portals
  .
• Strong coordination and follow-up capability across departments.
• Basic understanding of
  Mutual Funds, SIPs, Insurance, AUM, revenue models, wealth management products
  .

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to wealth management, broking, AMC, or financial advisory environments.
• Experience with
  Power BI, Google Data Studio, or any data visualization tool
  .
• Understanding of dashboards involving funnel metrics, productivity analytics, and revenue modelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in
  Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics
  , or a related field.
• 1–3 years
  of experience in MIS, analytics, or reporting (wealth management background preferred).
• Certification like
  Advanced Excel, VBA / Macros, Power BI / Tableau
  will be an extra advantage.
