About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager-Recruitment to lead leadership hiring across both domestic and international markets. This role is directly aligned with the Founders Office, providing strategic exposure, autonomy, and accountability for building the leadership bench of Masters Union.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in executive search, stakeholder management, and recruitment strategy, while being hands-on with execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership Hiring (Domestic + International): Drive end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership roles across business units and geographies.
- Strategy & Execution: Design and implement best-in-class hiring strategies to attract top-tier leadership talent aligned with Masters' Union's mission and growth.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with Founders, CXOs, and business leaders to understand talent requirements and build strong pipelines.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a small team (1–2 recruiters) while remaining hands-on in execution.
- Talent Market Insights: Provide market intelligence, benchmarking, and talent mapping for niche/strategic roles.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen Masters' Union's positioning as an employer of choice.
- Process Excellence: Continuously improve recruitment processes, ensuring agility, efficiency, and a premium candidate experience.
- Partner Management: Manage relationships with executive search firms, recruitment agencies, and other external partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- MBA/PGDM from a Tier 1/2 institute with 8+ years of post-MBA experience in recruitment OR 10+ years of post-MBA experience.
- Proven track record in leadership/executive hiring (domestic and international).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of talent mapping, sourcing strategies, and recruitment operations for leadership roles.
- Hands-on, execution-focused leader with the ability to balance strategy and delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working directly with CXOs/Founders/Board-level stakeholders is highly desirable.
