About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and creative
digital marketing professional (3–5 years' experience)
with proven expertise in
social media, paid campaigns, and lead generation
within the
higher education or study abroad sector
.

You will manage the
end-to-end digital presence
of a
UK university in India
, driving awareness, engagement, and student inquiries through innovative, data-driven marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute targeted lead-generation strategies for prospective students and parents.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across
    Meta, Instagram, and LinkedIn
    to drive qualified inquiries.
  • Manage
    email marketing campaigns
    (Mailchimp, Zoho, or similar) for lead nurturing and conversion.
  • Track and report campaign ROI,
    cost per lead (CPL)
    , and conversion metrics to continuously improve results.

2. Social Media & Digital Presence

  • Manage all official social-media accounts (
    LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter/X
    ) for the university.
  • Build and maintain a
    content calendar
    aligned with brand guidelines and recruitment goals.
  • Create and post engaging content — creatives, reels, videos, infographics, and blogs — to boost engagement.
  • Grow online community engagement and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.

3. Content & Brand Storytelling

  • Write and publish thought-leadership blogs, alumni/student success stories, and brand articles.
  • Collaborate with academic staff, alumni, and student ambassadors for authentic storytelling.
  • Ensure all content reflects the university's tone, quality, and visual identity.

4. Market Insights & Competitive Mapping

  • Conduct competitor and industry analysis to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on student recruitment trends, digital benchmarks, and audience behavior.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with
    admissions, business development, and academic teams
    to align marketing campaigns with recruitment targets.
  • Present
    monthly/quarterly performance reports
    with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Suggest new digital tools, automation platforms, and campaign ideas to enhance reach and efficiency.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 3–5 years
    in
    digital marketing, social media management, and lead generation
    , only in the
    education or study-abroad industry
    .

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in
    Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
    .
  • Strong grasp of
    SEO/SEM
    , analytics tools (
    Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.
    ).
  • Experience with email-marketing tools (
    Mailchimp, Zoho, HubSpot
    ).
  • Basic design/content creation ability (
    Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
    ).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Creative thinker with analytical depth and attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working cross-functionally.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Marketing, Communications, or Business
    (Master's preferred).
