Description

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Drive market research and analytics to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define business, sales, digital, capex, marketing, and new product strategies.
  • Lead annual business planning and facilitate strategy implementation.
  • Drive expansion initiatives and coordinate cross-functional growth projects.


Financial

  • Support accounts and finance heads in P&L formulation, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Identify financial opportunities, oversee cost optimization, and manage credit cycles.
  • Lead and groom a team of strategists and analysts to achieve result-oriented project deliveries.
  • Oversee succession planning and participate in HR initiatives to boost engagement and motivation.


Process

  • Monitor daily business operations for alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process optimizations and best practices.
  • Ensure operational excellence in documentation, compliance, cargo movement, and process automation.
  • Lead and track critical and special projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, offering data-driven insights for executive decisions.
  • Facilitate MIS, track-and-trace, and digital adoption across logistics processes


People
  • Drive a performance driven culture in the organization by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members
  • Enable capability of self and team members by overseeing implementation of appropriate systems and policies
  • Oversee succession planning for all critical roles in the team and groom high-potential subordinates
  • Actively participate as Function Head / Line Manager in HR initiatives to drive overall employee engagement and motivation
  • Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent and competent authority
