Human Resources Manager with a real estate background
to set up and lead our HR function.

Position Overview

The
HR Manager – Real Estate Operations
will play a pivotal role in establishing structured HR systems across the company. This is a leadership role for a self-driven professional who can design and manage all HR functions including
recruitment, compliance, payroll, and employee engagement
, while aligning HR practices with the fast-paced needs of a
real estate and construction workforce
(sales, projects, site teams, and office staff).

Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Policy Implementation

• Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and documentation tailored to real estate project environments.
• Manage onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.).
• Maintain accurate employee data across departments — Sales, Site Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Admin.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

• Partner with business heads to forecast and fulfill hiring requirements for various functions including
  site operations, project management, sales, and back-office roles
  .
• Manage end-to-end recruitment — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Develop a candidate pipeline for
  project-specific and field-level positions
  .
• Use job portals, LinkedIn, and headhunting to attract high-quality talent from the real estate and construction sectors.

3. Payroll & Compensation Management

• Oversee full-cycle payroll processing and coordination with accounts.
• Ensure accurate compliance with statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
• Generate payroll MIS and support annual compensation review exercises.

4. Statutory Compliance & HR Administration

• Handle all statutory compliances related to real estate operations and project sites.
• Maintain registers and documentation as per labour laws.
• Coordinate audits and renewals for HR-related licences and registrations.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

• Build a positive work culture through engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
• Address grievances, disciplinary issues, and employee concerns with sensitivity.
• Conduct regular feedback sessions and welfare drives across office and site locations.

6. Performance Management & Training

• Implement performance review systems and support department heads in KPI setting.
• Identify skill development needs across departments and coordinate training sessions.
• Prepare HR dashboards and reports on employee performance, headcount, and attrition.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate or Postgraduate in
  Human Resources / Industrial Relations / Business Administration
  .
• 7–9 years of HR experience
  , preferably in
  real estate, construction, or infrastructure
  companies.
• Strong understanding of
  labour laws, site-level compliance, and performance management systems
  .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with
  HRMS, payroll software, and MS Office
  .
• Ability to work independently and establish HR frameworks in a scaling organization.
