Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers hands-on experience in B2B sales, client relationship management, and global business expansion strategies. You'll work directly with our business development team to drive growth and help businesses connect across borders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential buyers and suppliers in target markets
- Build prospect databases using various tools and platforms
- Conduct initial outreach via email, phone, and social media
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior team members
Client Relationship Management
- Assist in onboarding new clients to the platform
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients
- Gather client feedback and relay insights to product team
- Support client success initiatives and retention strategies
Market Research & Analysis
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities
- Prepare market reports and business intelligence presentations
- Analyze platform performance metrics and user behavior
- Identify new business opportunities and partnership possibilities
Sales Support
- Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals
- Support the sales team during client meetings and demonstrations
- Help maintain CRM systems and sales pipeline tracking
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and business meetings
Strategic Projects
- Work on special projects related to business expansion
- Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for new regions
- Support partnership development initiatives
- Contribute to business development planning and strategy sessions
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field
- 0-1 years of relevant experience (fresher candidates welcome)
- Previous internship experience in sales/marketing is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of B2B sales processes
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead generation tools
- Research and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently

- Previous experience in B2B marketplace or e-commerce environment
