Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at our Chandigarh location.

The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality systems, GMP, and food safety standards across operations. The role involves oversight of operational quality systems (OS/OT), managing deviations, ensuring QC and food safety compliance, and driving effective closure of market complaints in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Systems & Operations Support (OS/OT):


• Oversee daily QA operations and ensure adherence to site and global quality standards.


• Review and approve batch manufacturing and packaging records.


• Ensure timely execution and closure of OS/OT activities and CAPAs.

  1. Deviation & Investigation Management:


• Lead investigation of deviations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.


• Monitor trends to identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.

  1. QC & Compliance Oversight:


• Coordinate with Quality Control for review of analytical data, OOS/OOT results, and documentation.


• Ensure data integrity, adherence to test procedures, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

  1. Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance:


• Support site-level implementation and monitoring of food safety programs (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, etc.).


• Conduct internal audits, hygiene inspections, and ensure compliance with FSSAI and GMP norms.

  1. Market Complaints Management:


• Manage product quality complaints from the market, ensuring timely investigation and response.


• Coordinate with production, QC, and supply chain teams for root cause analysis and preventive action.

  1. Documentation & Continuous Improvement:


• Maintain quality documentation and ensure readiness for regulatory and customer audits.


• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and quality culture enhancement across departments.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in and Quality Assurance practices
  • Experience in Quality Management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Knowledge of Quality Auditing processes and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in the agriculture or manufacturing industry is advantageous
