About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented
QA Engineer
to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in
manual testing
, a sharp eye for identifying issues, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. Experience with
API testing
and a basic understanding of automation tools will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities


• Perform
manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
on web-based applications.


• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.


• Design, develop, and maintain
test cases and test documentation
(test plans, test reports, bug reports).


• Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).


• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure seamless releases.


• Conduct
cross-browser and responsive testing
to validate UI and usability.


• Participate in
API testing
using tools such as Postman or similar, validating request/response correctness.


• Support release activities, including smoke and sanity testing on deployment builds.


• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Requirements


•
2–3 years
of experience in software QA with a strong focus on
manual testing of web applications
.


• Solid understanding of
SDLC
,
STLC
, and different
testing methodologies
(functional, regression, exploratory, UAT).


• Experience with
bug tracking and test management tools
(e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).


• Familiarity with
API testing
using tools like
Postman, Insomnia, or cURL
.


• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive
test cases
and
bug reports
.


• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have


• Exposure to
automated testing frameworks
(e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).


• Basic knowledge of
SQL
for data validation.


• Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
or build tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).


• Understanding of
REST APIs
and JSON structures.
