HR Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager with 8+ years of solid experience preferably from the service industry—to lead and transform our HR strategy. The focus will be on designing and managing an effective Performance Management System (PMS) that drives business results and nurtures a high-performing culture. Need a candidate who will thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment and have a passion for talent management and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management:
Design, implement, and manage a robust PMS aligned with company goals.
Develop KPIs, manage appraisal cycles, and foster a feedback-oriented culture.
Train managers and employees on performance tools and analytics-driven interventions.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, interviewing, and candidate selection.
Partner with leadership to satisfy organizational staffing needs and build talent pipelines.
Onboarding & Integration:
Conduct engaging onboarding sessions to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Manage documentation, verification, and cultural orientation.
Training & Development:
Identify skill gaps and execute leadership and training programs.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for talent development initiatives.
HR Processes & Compliance:
Develop and enforce HR policies for operational efficiency and legal compliance.
Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry standards.
Payroll & Salary Administration:
Oversee payroll processing, statutory deductions, and reconciliations accurately.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
Plan and implement employee engagement programs, recognition, and team-building activities.
Qualifications and Skills
8+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong foundation in Performance Management.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or related discipline; advanced HR certifications preferred.
Comprehensive expertise across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, legal compliance, and employee engagement.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in India.
Proficiency in HRMS software, MS Office, and analytics tools.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, start-up culture.
