Role Summary

Senior HR Executive will lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functionstalent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, HR operations and compliancefor both corporate and project sites. This role demands a hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with execution.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment (from requirement gathering, sourcing, screening, interviewing to offer) for diverse roles across real estate, construction, corporate support functions.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and niche roles.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and orientation programs to integrate new hires smoothly.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote a positive work culture and facilitate employee engagement initiatives (surveys, events, recognition programs).
  • Monitor attrition, conduct exit interviews, and derive insights for retention strategies.

Performance Management & Learning & Development

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal cycles (goal-setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals).
  • Design and coordinate training needs analysis, learning interventions, development programs, and career planning.
  • Measure effectiveness of L&D programs and continuously improve them.

Compensation & Benefits, Payroll & HR Operations

  • Oversee payroll (or liaise with payroll team / vendor) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.
  • Maintain and update HRIS or HR database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

HR Strategy, Analytics & Policy

  • Contribute to HR strategy aligned with business goals, especially for growth in real estate / infrastructure verticals.
  • Use HR metrics (turnover, hiring velocity, engagement scores) to generate insights and recommend actions.
  • Draft, update and implement HR policies, employee handbook, standard operating procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.

Project / Site HR Support

  • Provide on-site HR support to project teams (construction sites, realty projects) managing site staffing, compliance, safety-related HR coordination.
  • Liaise between corporate HR and site operations to synchronize HR processes, policies and communications.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (MBA / PG Diploma in HR is a plus)
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of HR experience, ideally in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Technical Skills / Knowledge:

    • Sound understanding of Indian labor laws & compliance (PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).

    • Hands-on experience in recruitment, performance management, training & development.

    • Proficiency in HRIS / HRMS and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Ability to analyze HR metrics and present actionable insights.
  • Competencies & Behavioral Attributes:

    • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and handle ambiguity.

    • Problem-solving orientation, conflict resolution skills, and high emotional intelligence.

    • Project / site exposure is an advantage.
