Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (English/Spanish)Location: (Florida preferred / Eastern states)Job Type: (Full-Time/Part-Time)Reports To: Customer Service Manager/ Vice President/ CEOCompany Overview: Master Billing LLC We are a specialized dermatology billing company dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and patient-friendly billing services. Our team works closely with dermatology practices to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations and exceptional patient support.
Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Bilingual Customer Service Representative fluent in English and Spanish to assist patients and providers with billing inquiries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a basic understanding of medical billing practices (especially in dermatology), and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Respond to incoming calls, emails, and messages from patients and providers regarding billing questions, insurance claims, and account status in both English and Spanish.
Explain statements, balances, insurance benefits, and payment options clearly and professionally. Resolve patient complaints and disputes effectively and empathetically. Assist patients with processing payments.
Work closely with the billing and coding team to clarify account details or correct errors. Document all patient interactions accurately in the billing system. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Stay updated on insurance regulations, dermatology billing codes, and company procedures. Qualifications:Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher is a plus.1 years of experience in customer service; medical billing experience, especially in dermatology, strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing software (e.g., ModMed, AdvancedMD, or similar) preferred. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently in a remote environment.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is a plus
