Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Junior Purchase Executive for our manufacturing unit in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position where the candidate must have a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience. The position demands someone adept at handling procurement tasks and negotiating with suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes with experience in managing purchase orders (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in negotiation to ensure the best pricing and terms from suppliers (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in SAP to manage procurement transactions and supplier interactions efficiently.
  • Effective vendor management skills to establish and maintain productive supplier relationships.
  • Ability to plan materials requirements to align with production schedules and business demands.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise across departments and with external suppliers.
  • Attention to detail in monitoring inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and propose improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all activities related to the procurement of necessary goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality service and compliance.
  • Track and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stocking levels and to prevent shortages.
  • Handle discrepancies related to procurement and work towards corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
