Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Executive to join our team in the manufacturing sector, based in Hyderabad. This is a junior-level, full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing purchasing processes, essential to supporting our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in procurement processes, specifically within the manufacturing sector (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with creating and managing purchase orders to ensure smooth operation flow (Mandatory skill).
  • Competence in SAP for tracking and managing procurement functions (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong vendor management skills to maintain and establish effective supplier relationships.
  • Ability to oversee and handle inventory management to optimize supply levels and operations.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure beneficial terms and favorable quotes for procurement.
  • Attention to detail for accurate handling and review of purchasing documentation and contracts.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely purchase of necessary resources.
  • Process purchase orders and maintain tracking systems to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and predict future supply needs to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on purchasing metrics, cost analyses, and supplier evaluations.
  • Work in collaboration with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in purchasing processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new product development to enhance procurement strategies.
