Job Purpose:
Head of BD will be responsible for identifying, developing, closing, onboarding strategic partnerships and business opportunities to drive growth and market expansion in the Life & health insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities across Pan India, including emerging distribution channels and strategic alliances, to accelerate zonal growth and enhance market presence.
Guide and support regional managers in establishing and nurturing high-value relationships with banks, NBFCs, wealth managers, fintech, brokers, digital platforms, and other key stakeholders to strengthen the partner ecosystem and distribution footprint.
Supervise and provide strategic direction during complex negotiations and alliance structuring, ensuring commercially sound agreements aligned with overall corporate goals and delivering long-term value.
Continuously monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regional dynamics to uncover growth opportunities and provide insights that shape strategic decision-making.
Foster collaboration between regional teams and internal functionssuch as product, marketing, underwriting, compliance, and legalto ensure effective localization and execution of partnership strategies across Pan India.
Track and assess partnership performance against defined KPIs and ROI targets, offering guidance and recommendations to regional teams and business stakeholders for continuous improvement and scalability.
