Role Summary
The Analytics Lead drives business intelligence (BI) and analytics to empower data-driven decision-making across all business functions in a high-paced quick commerce environment. This role is responsible for building an analytics roadmap, developing real-time dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to optimize assortment, supply chain, and last-mile operations. The Analytics Lead will spearhead predictive modeling, monitor critical KPIs, and mentor a team of BI analysts to drive cost efficiency and performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities
● Analytics Roadmap: Design and execute a strategic analytics roadmap to support business objectives and operational efficiency.
● Real-Time Dashboards: Develop and maintain real-time, accurate dashboards (≥ 99% accuracy) for leadership and cross-functional teams.
● Predictive Modeling: Build and refine predictive demand models to optimize inventory, assortment, and supply chain planning.
● KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze daily KPIs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
● Actionable Insights: Provide data-driven insights to enhance assortment strategies, supply chain efficiency, and last-mile delivery performance.
● Team Leadership: Train and mentor BI analysts to build a high-performing analytics team capable of delivering impactful results.
● Cost & Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve operational performance through advanced analytics.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Dashboard Accuracy: Achieve ≥ 99% accuracy in all analytics dashboards and reports.
● Insight Adoption Rate: Ensure ≥ 80% adoption of analytics insights by relevant business functions.
Skills & Competencies
● Advanced proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar BI tools for data analysis and visualization.
● Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
● Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team of analysts.
● Deep understanding of quick commerce dynamics, including assortment, supply chain, and last-mile operations.
● Excellent communication skills to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience & Education
● Experience: 7–10 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields, preferably in quick commerce, e-commerce, or FMCG.
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent from a reputed institute preferred.
Work Environment
