Job Description

  • Plan manpower and equipment usage to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor daiiy operations to ensure timely part supply and process adherence. Conduct experiments to control distortion, ovalitY* expansion, and material behavior.
  • Implement technjcal improvements to enhance process quality and reliability. Undertake cost-reduction projects through process optimzation and resource effciency.
  • Establish strong process control mechanisms and ensure adherence to Monitor batch performance for export compliance and quality benchmarks, Prepare documentation and presentations for audits, reviews, and certifications.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions,
  • Deve\op preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
  • Ensure optimal material availability and manage WP levels across the shop floor.
  • Pian development activities including procurement of fixtures and defining processing conditions.
  • Ensure compliance With 5S, TPM* and health & safety regulations.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Experience in the automotive or auto component industry
  • Proficient in operating seated quench and continuous carburizing furnaces.
  • Skilled in managing a metallurgical testing laboratory
  • Knowledge of vacuum heat treatment and low-pressure carburizing
  • Familiarity With tooi steel heat treatment and steet raw material properties.

Desirable:

  • Problem solving & Trouble shooting techniques,
  • Knowledge of Quality systems applicable to Auto ancillary
  • Advanced knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatment
  • Good planning, leadership & communication skills
