We are looking for a dynamic, confident, and aggressive Software and QA Tester who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate closely with our software development teams to ensure product excellence.

Position Overview

The Software and QA Tester will be responsible for end-to-end testing of software applications across multiple platforms (Web, Mobile, and Desktop). The ideal candidate should be a go-getter, highly detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple testing projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities (20+)

  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
  • Identify, log, and track software defects through established QA processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand software requirements.
  • Work with UI/UX designers to identify and suggest fixes for user interface and user experience issues, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms.
  • Conduct regression, integration, functional, and performance testing.
  • Ensure software quality across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS, and Desktop).
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and release meetings.
  • Review and analyze business and technical requirements for test planning.
  • Perform usability and compatibility testing on different browsers and devices.
  • Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and retest fixes.
  • Create detailed test reports and documentation for management review.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
  • Support multiple ongoing software projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure all software meets client expectations and company quality standards.
  • Recommend process improvements for software development and QA workflows.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders during testing phases.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and suggest preventive measures.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and technologies.
  • Manage version control and testing tools like JIRA, Git, or similar platforms.
  • Verify data integrity and security compliance for all tested systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align QA activities with project goals.
  • Ensure timely completion of all testing tasks within defined timelines.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing and QA.
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
  • Experience in testing Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), and API-based applications.
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be based in Mumbai, preferably near Andheri East / Sakinaka.
  • Immediate joiners will be given first preference.
