Job Description

The Cluster Manager – Sales will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of a team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives. This role involves end-to-end team management, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance monitoring. The Cluster Manager is expected to consistently track and enhance team productivity, ensure delivery of business targets, and take appropriate actions to address underperformance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

* Achieve business targets and drive new business opportunities within the assigned cluster.

* Generate revenue through new customer acquisition for Education Loans (for studies in India and overseas).

* Supervise and coordinate home visits for self and team, and assign leads to individual loan officers.

* Personally visit and engage with students and their parents, effectively addressing their queries and presenting tailored loan solutions, while supporting loan officers during client visits.

* Maintain strong relationships with assigned channel partners; meet regularly to generate new leads and referrals.

* Oversee the end-to-end process from lead generation to login, sanction, disbursement, and post-sales service.

* Deliver excellent customer service and drive referrals through satisfied customers.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Credit, Operations, Legal, and Service to ensure compliance with documentation and seamless customer experience.

* Partner with channel partners to conduct marketing events like college seminars, consultant events, and web-based webinars.

* Analyze value proposition gaps in existing business relationships and suggest strategic improvements.

* Cross-sell allied products such as foreign exchange services, insurance, and manage the collection of processing charges.

* Ensure team targets are met across segments (monthly logins and disbursements) through active monitoring and support.

Qualifications & Experience

* Experience: 7–12 years of relevant sales experience in the financial services sector.

* Education: MBA in Marketing or Finance preferred.
