Position Summary

This is a G4 (Professional) level
HR Generalist role, acting as the HR backbone for our manufacturing operations. This is not a simple-back-office role; you will be a visible and essential partner on the factory floor, managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep, hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of compliance (ESIC & PF), and a talent for non-IT recruitment.

What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

1. Talent Acquisition (Non-Technical):

·      Own the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all non-IT roles (e.g., Production, Quality, Operations, Sales, Finance).

·      Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates using LinkedIn
, job portals, and employee referrals.

·      Manage the offer process, documentation, and pre-joining formalities.

2. Statutory Compliance (ESIC & PF):

  • Serve as the on-site expert for all statutory compliance matters.
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle for
    ESIC and PF
    , including new registrations, UAN generation, and resolving employee queries.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all factory-related labor laws.

3. HR Operations & Lifecycle Management:

·      Manage daily attendance, leave, and overtime (OT)
records, ensuring 100% accuracy for payroll processing.

·      Drive the complete onboarding and induction for all new joiners at the plant.

·      Prepare and manage all HR documentation (appointment letters, confirmation letters, exit documents).

·      Handle the full and final settlement process for exiting employees.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement:

·      Be the first point of contact for all employee queries regarding payroll, leave, policy, and compliance.

·      Support the HR Head in driving employee engagement initiatives at the factory.

·      Address and resolve employee grievances in a timely and professional manner.

Experience:
2-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.

·       
Scale (Must-Have):
Must have experience handling HR in an organization with an
employee size of at least 300+
.

Industry (Must-Have):
Experience in a
fast-paced manufacturing or factory environment
is non-negotiable.

·       
Recruitment (Must-Have):
Demonstrated success in
non-IT hiring
(e.g., for production, quality, finance) with proven experience using
LinkedIn Sourcing
.

·       
Compliance (Must-Have):
Expert-level, hands-on understanding of
ESIC and PF
processes.

·       
Education:
MBA in HR or equivalent.

  • Skills:

o  
Must be hands-on with HRIS / payroll software
(e.g., HR-One, SAP, etc.) and attendance management systems.

o  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o  High level of ownership, integrity, and problem-solving ability.
