Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities across solar and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, purchase order processing, cost negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate vendors for solar components, electricals, civil materials, and project-related supplies
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in line with project timelines and budget
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Track material delivery, coordinate with stores and project teams for GRN and inwarding
  • Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and statutory norms
  • Collaborate with accounts for invoice processing and payment follow-ups
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to purchases

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in Commerce, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 25 years of experience in procurement (solar/infrastructure/manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Familiarity with purchase modules in ERP/Zoho/Excel
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in procurement
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
