About the Role:

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with strong sourcing and negotiation skills to join our

growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in vendor development (VMC &

CNC machining, basic understanding of pneumatic components, and sound mechanical

knowledge. The role focuses on optimising costs, ensuring timely procurement, and building

reliable supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new VMC and CNC vendors to expand the supplier base.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to reduce BOM (Bill of Materials) costs by at least 10%

without compromising on quality.

  • Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure accurate material and component

requirements.

  • Handle purchase orders, quotations, and vendor follow-ups for timely delivery.
  • Assess vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Assist in planning and forecasting material requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchase, sourcing, or vendor development (preferably in the

manufacturing or automation industry).

  • Knowledge of VMC and CNC processes is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic components and basic mechanical systems.
  • Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and documentation.
