Business Development Executive

Job Description:
A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving company growth. The role involves researching market trends, developing strategies to increase sales, and promoting the company's products or services to potential customers. The BDE acts as the link between the company and clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Market Research
- Identify new sales leads through networking, online research, and cold calling.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to find potential opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Handle client queries, ensure satisfaction, and provide after-sales support.
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the management.
- Develop proposals, quotations, and business presentations for clients.
- Strategic Planning
- Work with the marketing team to plan promotional campaigns and brand awareness activities.
- Contribute ideas to develop new products or improve existing ones based on client feedback.
- Negotiation and Closing Deals
- Negotiate terms of agreements, pricing, and contracts with clients.
- Finalize deals and ensure timely delivery of services/products.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) databases with updated client details.
- Team Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategy improvements.
- Customer Retention and Feedback
- Follow up with clients for feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop loyalty programs and customer retention strategies.
Key Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated attitude
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience:
