Business Development Executive – CNC Machining (Experienced Only)
Company: Tamilvanan Industries
Industry: CNC Turning, Machining & Tapping& grinding
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in CNC Machining Business Development
Job Purpose
To independently bring CNC machining orders by identifying customer requirements, analysing drawings, preparing cost estimates, coordinating sample development, and converting enquiries into confirmed orders.
Key Responsibilities
Order Generation & Customer Development
Identify OEMs, Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers who require CNC turned and machined components.
- Meet purchase managers, vendor development engineers, and production heads.
- Collect enquiries, drawings, material specifications, tolerances, and technical requirements.
Develop new customer accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Enquiry Follow-up & Customer Communication
Follow up on RFQs and quotations to increase conversion rate.
- Provide technical clarifications requested by customers.
- Maintain regular communication with vendor development teams.
3.Order Finalisation & Execution Support
- Confirm commercial terms—price, lead time, payment terms.
- Complete vendor registration for new customers.
- Coordinate customer visits, audits, or assessments.
- Track production status and ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in CNC turning / machining business development.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, and costing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently manage customers and achieve business targets.
- Willing to travel when required.
