Job Title: Parts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Manage and maintain optimum stock levels of parts and accessories.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
  • Monitor parts usage and forecast future inventory needs based on vehicle servicing patterns.
  • Procurement:
  • Source and order genuine Renault parts from authorized distributors or suppliers.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure the best pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely restocking of high-demand parts to avoid delays in vehicle servicing.
  • Distribution:
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee the dispatch of parts to different sections within the service center.
  • Manage shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring proper storage to avoid damage or loss.
  • Customer Service:
  • Assist customers and the service team with parts inquiries and provide guidance on suitable replacement parts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate information on parts availability and delivery timelines.
  • Manage customer complaints related to parts and resolve issues effectively.
  • Team Management:
  • Supervise the parts department staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment between the parts and service teams to streamline operations.
  • Implement efficient workflows to optimize the department's productivity.
  • Budgeting and Reporting:
  • Develop and manage the parts department budget, ensuring profitability.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock turnover rates, cost control, and order accuracy.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, sales, and expenses for management review.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to Renault's standards and policies regarding parts handling and storage.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all parts transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role, ideally within an automotive service center.
  • Strong knowledge of Renault car parts and accessories, especially for models like Kwid, Triber, and Kiger.
  • Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in parts management software and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A background in team leadership and staff management.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, automotive technology, or related fields (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a parts management role in an automobile service center.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹13, ₹40,690.88 per month
