Role & responsibilities

  1. Monitor and control tour operating costs to maintain profitability.

  2. Upsell services to enhance client experience and increase margins.

  3. Ensure file closures are completed within stipulated timelines and as per company guidelines.

  4. Coordinate with partners, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of tours.

  5. Ensure real-time sharing of customer information with suppliers for accurate service delivery.

  6. Adhere to operational procedures and compliance requirements defined by the company.

  7. Ensure systems are updated with accurate and relevant costs.

  8. Track and process supplier payments efficiently.

  9. Maintain proper documentation for visa, biometrics, and interviews. 10. Ensure seamless coordination of logistics, rooming lists, menus, venue confirmations, and Tour Manager activities.

  10. Monitor on-ground commitments from suppliers, hotels, and clients to ensure service delivery as per the memorandum of understanding.

  11. Gather and analyze client feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

  12. Build and maintain healthy relationships with clients, transporters, hotels, airlines, and other local agencies.

  13. Liaise with branches and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.

  14. Smooth coordination with internal teams Airlines, Visa, FX, Accounts, Sales etc.

  15. Adhering to system processes and getting accustomed to it.

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Candidate must have 4-7years of experience in MICE Operations.

  2. To drive operational excellence and financial performance within the MICE business unit at Thomas Cook by delivering exceptional client experiences, optimizing vendor partnerships, and ensuring seamless execution of corporate group travel.

  3. The role is pivotal in aligning service delivery with strategic business goals, enhancing profitability, and fostering long-term client relationships.
