Job Description: Area Sales Manager
Purpose:
To oversee and manage a team of Team Leaders, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure they achieve their sales targets, develop their leadership skills, and drive business growth.
Key Result areas:
- Develop and enhance the leadership skills of Team Leaders to improve their sales management capabilities.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders to implement sales strategies, plans, and tactics to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Monitor, analyse, and improve the sales performance of Team Leaders and their teams, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Identify, develop, and retain top sales talent, ensuring a strong succession pipeline for future leadership roles.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and procedures to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Foster collaboration and alignment between sales, marketing, and other functions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipelines to ensure accurate sales projections and revenue growth.
- Ensure that Team Leaders and their teams build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Enablers:
- Design and implement sales strategies to ensure achievement of sales and ARPU targets as per the approved plan.
- Prepare and submit annual sales plan and budget to Sales Head for approval covering Bandwidth, geographic spread of retail clients, sales manpower plan, and projected revenues.
- Provide feedback to management on market response to new product launches.
- Ensure implementation of approved sales promotion schemes across the Retail Business Vertical.
